ABOUT BRITMA

ADVANCING TACTICAL MEDICINE IN THE UK & IRELAND

The British and Irish Tactical Medical Association (BRITMA) is the professional body for Tactical Medicine across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We exist to unite healthcare professionals, responders, and educators who operate in high-threat, austere, or complex environments.

BRITMA promotes professionalism, collaboration, and evidence-based practice across all agencies engaged in Tactical Medicine — from emergency services and defence to healthcare, academia, and voluntary sectors.

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), BRITMA is not-for-profit and exists entirely for public benefit. Every activity, event, and partnership is designed to enhance clinical effectiveness, responder safety, and interoperability in Tactical Medicine.
